That's weird.

Yeah, we've been seeing a lot of ladybugs in Missouri too! I can't believe it because it's been getting down to the freezing point. Come to think of it, we didn't see many in the spring either. Hmmm....

ladybugs are supposed to be lucky - in fact there are many cultures that call them "lucky bugs." looks like good things are headed your way. ;-)

I lived in Portland Maine for two long, very cold winters. Ladybugs got both into my apartment and a friends. We had no idea how they got in, but they were certainly welcome!
Karen! THANK YOU for this :) Even if it is just an old wives' tale, I'm feeling pretty dandy today just thinking this could be true :)

They released lady bugs in our area to combat an infestation of some other pest. And I’ve lived in houses that had major infestations of lady bugs, and I once worked in a gallery with a major infestation of these creatures. They are horrible! Once they put off a “bomb” in the gallery which killed all the lady bugs. But they left stain trails of lady bug guts down all the walls, artwork, textiles… everywhere! And then there was the time I tried to vacuum them up. They release this horrible scent and whenever we used the vacuum after that – the horrible acid lady bug smell would come out and stink up the place. No, I don’t consider these little creatures as good luck, they are horrible, stinky and hardy little buggers and they are impossible to get rid of. I don’t like them one bit. No sir, not one bit. One wonders what pest they were there to take care of. Yuck yuck yuck!

Oh, that's interesting. Jamie had one on her yesterday in the kitchen, but we didn't think anything about it. Wonder what that's up?
er.. what's up, not what that's up...

TAKE LUCK! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvp4VdD6Dbc)

I was going to say it is a good sign, but karen covered that!
